We also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and chacter produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts throught the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.   Romans 5:3-5

    The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts; so I am helped. and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.   Psalm 28:7

   Most merciful God,
We confess that we have sinned against You
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done,
and what we have left undone.
We have not loved You with our whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
For the sake of Your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we may delight in Your will,
and walk in Your ways,
to the glory of Your Name. Amen
